Sequence diagram: a bidder raising their existing bid. The previous bid is immutable and is only audit-marked; a new row is inserted with a supersedes pointer.

The API checks creative approval before AuctionDO validates a bid increase. A transaction inserts the replacement and supersedes the previous bid, rejecting races.
