Getting Started

nowyourlink is a Cloudflare Workers monorepo that runs a daily sealed-bid auction for the homepage link at nowyourlink.com. The winning bid for any given day is the only outbound link the homepage exposes for the duration of that auction’s ad day.

The site you are reading right now is build-in-the-open: every design spec, process diagram, runbook, and architectural decision lives in docs/superpowers/ in the same repository as the code, and is mirrored into this site by a prebuild step.

How the docs are organised

  • Getting Started — you are here.
  • Architecture — the master design + cross-cutting contracts.
  • Sub-Systems — one folder per spec 01–13, each with a Design spec and any process diagrams.
  • Operations — runbooks and the env/secret reference.
  • Decisions Log, Risks, Cost & Performance — generated from the master design.
  • API Reference — placeholder until Phase 2.
  • Legal Notice — Impressum, AGB, Datenschutz.

Local development

pnpm install
pnpm --filter @nowyourlink/docs-site dev

The predev and prebuild hooks both run scripts/sync-specs.mjs, which copies docs/superpowers/specs/*.md and docs/superpowers/processes/*.md into src/content/docs/sub-systems/NN-<slug>/. Edit the source files; reload the dev server to see changes.

Project conventions

See the project’s CLAUDE.md for the canonical convention list. Highlights:

  • TypeScript strict, pnpm 10 workspaces, Turbo, Wrangler v4.
  • Hono on every non-Astro Worker; Astro on apps/web; Starlight here.
  • pnpm verify (lint + typecheck + test —coverage + build) gates every PR.
