The edge serves a cached day page when available. Otherwise Astro loads the Spotlight, activity and engagement data, resolves the locale and renders the page with SEO metadata. Key invariants:

  • No call to AuctionDO. The D1 mirror is the only data source for public pages.
  • Locale resolves before any DB call so SSR HTML matches the cookie.
  • The OG PNG is fetched by the visitor’s client from the CDN — the worker never inlines binary.
  • If ad_status='revoked', the renderer still returns 200 with a “retracted” stub (E2).
